Lindsay Warnock
Recreation Home Design was born from a need to simplify the design process. In 2020, my husband and I moved into a new space and stepped into the next chapter of family and entertaining. I was seduced by interior design and enjoyed finding ways for each space to conjure energy and set a vibe. I found purpose and joy in this personal project. It became my most loved hobby, a true outlet for recreation. I would fall asleep reading design articles, have dreams filled with wallpaper prints, and wake up to scroll through furniture inventory. Unfortunately, the vision I wanted to create was only available ‘to-the-trade’. The only seeable way to execute the project was to hire a third party designer and pay a significant markup. That is when Recreation Home Design was born. I believe creatives should have access to the best tools to create. I believe self designing and decorating your home brings protective energy to the space where you rest and recharge. Your home is an extension of you.
